County Assembly Departmental Committees Visit KICOTEC
Today, 1st March, 2019, Members of the Kitui County Assembly during their fifth day of the 2nd week of County Projects Inspection Tour had an opportunity to visit the infamous Kitui County Textile Centre (KICOTEC) which is situated in Township Ward to check on the project’s progress. The facility was established under Governor Charity Ngilu’s regime, in the financial year 2017/ 2018.
Several Ward Representatives lauded the project but majority of them questioned its operational framework.They assured the institution’s administration that they will do all what is within their reach to ensure the project operates within the required standards.
