The Clerk of the County Assembly handles all the administrative issues in the County Assembly. The Clerk is the custodian of records of the County Assembly.
The Clerk also works as the Secretary to the County Assembly Service Board. The current Ag. Clerk of the County Assembly of Kitui is Lucy Nduku Waema. Lucy is an accomplished administrator having held several positions in government.
The Ag. Deputy Clerk of the Assembly is Mr. Charles Namu Nyaga.
