The County Assembly of Kitui runs its own calendar in accordance with the powers of county assemblies exemplified in the County Governments Act 2012.
The County Assembly of Kitui prepares a calendar for it sessions at the beginning of each assembly session in accordance with the County Assembly Standing Order No. 25.
This is determined by the County Assembly Business Committee with approval of the County Assembly.
The County Assembly may, despite the published calendar, by resolution, alter its Calendar or the adjournment date.
