Speaker Hon. George M. Ndotto

The Speaker is the head of the County Assembly who is elected as soon as practicable after the General Election.

The Speaker of the Assembly is Hon. George M. Ndotto, EGH. The Speaker is experienced in public governance and was previously a lawmaker and a one time Minister in the National Government.

The Speaker of the County Assembly chairs the sittings of the Assembly. The Office of the Speaker is established by Section 178 (1) of the Constitution.
