Supplementary Budget 2019/2020 Approved

In a subsequent special sitting held today, the Assembly conducted the following business:

1. Passed a motion on the adoption of the report by the Committee on Budget and Appropriations on consideration of the Kitui County Supplementary Budget Estimates II for the Financial Year 2019/2020.

2. Passed the Kitui County Supplementary Appropriation (No. 2) Bill, 2020.

Top among the benefiting County Ministries were:

§ Ministry of Health and Sanitation

§ Ministry of Basic Education, ICT and Youth Development

§ Ministry of Trade, Cooperatives and Investments

§ Office of the Governor

The Bill will then be forwarded to H.E. the Governor for assenting into law and publication.
