KITUI COUNTY WARD PUBLIC FORUMS ACT, 2019

Members of the County Assembly are on day two of training on the Kitui County Ward Public Forums Act 2019. The purpose of this Act is to provide a framework that ensures the residents of Kitui County are directly involved in policy formulation, decisions making and effectively participate in governance.

Further, the committees will be briefed by the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) in charge of the Water ministry on water projects planned for in the budget for the financial year 2021/2022. Members are also set to prepare committee Annual Work Plans for the FY 2021/2022.
