VETTING OF PERSONS NOMINATED FOR APPOINTMENT AS CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE KITUI COUNTY PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD

The County Assembly Committee on Appointments has taken the following persons nominated as Chairperson and Members to the Kitui County Public Service Board through a rigorous vetting processes:

1. Ms. Florence M. Makindi

2. Ms. Winfred Tumbo

3. Mr. Hassan Mohammed Mutubwa

4. Mr. Joseph Kyavoa

5. Mr. Francis Muinde Kiliku

6. Mr. David Munyao

This is in exercise of the powers conferred by the provisions of Section 58 A of the County Governments (Amendment) Act 2020 and Section 7 (2) of the Public Appointments (County Assemblies Approval) Act, No. 5 of 2017.The Appointments Committee is there after set to compile a report on the findings of the vetting process on the nominees and present it to the House for debate and further necessary action.
