County Assembly and Executive Retreat

Members of the County Assembly of Kitui and the Kitui County Executive have converged in Pride Inn Hotel, Mombasa for a six day conference.

The conference which was officialy opened by the Kitui County Deputy Governor Dr. Wathe Nzau (representing Governor Ngilu) and the Assembly Speaker, Hon. George Ndotto aims at reviewing the progress of county projects, the achievements and challenges faced in the last financial year.

The Hon Speaker mentioned that the meeting is very crucial as it will offer room for bonding and consultation on public affairs in Kitui County. The retreat seeks to deepen the working relationship between the two arms of the county government.

This week long meeting, in addition, intends to map out a way forward for the county in the year 2020 in line with the approved budget estimates for the FY 2019/2020 and the approved 2020 Kitui County Annual Development Plan.
