SPEAKER KEVIN KINENGO HOLDS TALKS WITH HIS MAKUENI COUNTERPART
Hon. Kevin Kinengo Katisya, the Speaker of the County Assembly of Kitui on Monday afternoon (21st November, 2022), was hosted by his counterpart from Makueni, Speaker Hon. Douglas Mbilu to deliberate on how the two County Assemblies can partner and work together in fostering efficient service delivery to their members.
They agreed to work hand in hand and come up with joint legislations and programs. They further agreed to join the Machakos Speaker, Hon. Ann Kiusya and the three Ukambani Governors in reviving the South Eastern Kenya Economic Block (SEKEB) which was formed so as to advocate for joint development programs in the three counties.
A united SEKEB will definitely deliver development in Lower Eastern.
