THE KITUI COUNTY ANNUAL DEVELOPMENT (ADP) PLAN 2022 – 2023

The Assembly’s sectoral committees have embarked on consideration of the Kitui County ADP for the financial year 2022-2023. The Annual Development Plan is an important document in the budget process which is prepared by the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) in charge of Planning. It sets out the county’s annual development priorities for the forthcoming year.  ADP represents the annual implementation plan for what was approved in the five – year CIDP (County Integrated Development Plan) It is a single year extract of the CIDP.

The five-day exercise was flagged off by the Majority leader, Hon. Peter Kilonzo (Athi). In attendance was Mr. Enock Nguthu – Chief Officer Economic Planning who presented highlights on the previous Kitui County ADP 2021 – 2022. He was accompanied by his counterparts, Mr. Paul Kimwele – Director Planning and Mr. Isika Mbathi – County Economist.
